Former Lezotte Miller Inc. intern ready to dive into the PR world

Amber Higgins, a 2021 Lezotte Miller Inc. intern, is knocking on PR doors in the Detroit and Lansing area, seeking a full-time position she can dive into when she wraps up her last term at Michigan State University soon. While at LM Inc. she enjoyed assisting with media relations, spokesperson training, crisis management and marketing communication work.

“I’m excited to use the skills I learned over the last four years and make my mark in the public relations community,” Higgins said.

As a journalism major and public relations minor, she has always loved writing and people. While working for Harbor Bay Real Estate, she has provided insight on social media, marketing, event planning, and internal communication for its employees and residents.

Amber has always had an interest in government affairs and non-profit work but is open to other opportunities and is excited to see where her career takes her.
