Zach Gorchow

Zach Gorchow, editor of Gongwer News service, joins Capitol Issues Forum Thursday,

Sept. 27 to talk about his coverage of

the governor's race, the potential for a partisan shift in control of the Legislature and ballot proposals.

An editor at Gongwer since 2009, Gorchow also reported for the Detroit Free Press, covering Wayne County and the City of Detroit. He is an international relations graduate of Michigan State University, where he wrote for the State News, MSU's student newspaper, In 2015, he made the Washington Post's list of best state political reporters in the U.S.

The meeting will be held from 8 to 9 a.m. at the Small Business Association of Michigan, located at 120 N. Washington, Ste. 1000, Lansing. Capitol Issues Forum is an informal gathering of Lansing area public policy, communication and public relations professionals. It’s a joint project of Lezotte Miller Public Relations Inc. and the Small Business Association of Michigan.
