Lezotte Miller Inc earns Highfields’ Partnership Award
Lezotte Miller Public Relations Inc. of Okemos has been named the recipient of the Highfields Inc. 2013 Partnership Award, an annual recognition by the human service agency of an organization that provides significant support to Highfields’ mission.
Lezotte Miller Inc. was honored for more than 15 years of public relations counsel and service to the agency which serves at risk families and children. LM Inc was honored especially for its work on Highfields’ 50th Anniversary during 2012, including arranging for a video tribute from legendary comedian Bill Cosby and keynote speaker Dr. Alvin Poussaint, script advisor to “The Cosby Show.” The Partnership Award is given annually to an organization that helps Highfields in its effort to strengthen the lives of children and families. Past recipients of the Partnership Award include General Motors, Maner Costerisan, the Granger Foundation and Delta Dental.
“Lezotte Miller has been a strong partner with Highfields over many years,” said Brian Philson, Highfields’ CEO, during a presentation at Highfields’ annual meeting on April 17. “Barb and her staff go above and beyond to represent Highfields and educate the community about our work. The PR advice, creativity and communication expertise they provide are invaluable to us.”
